how to install Drupal on Local host using wamp server

How to Install Drupal On your Computer (On Local Host ) using                                                 WAMP Server . 

Step1 :

       First of all u need to download Drupal 7 from

http://drupal.org/download

After downloading, extract the folder from zip file

you will get a new folder ..

Copy that folder and past it into "WWW" directory ..!!

Step2:

      After that Rename the folder with your site name ..

Eg.. www.khan123.com 

Srep3:

      Now open the folder and go to Sites folder  -->go to default folder

and copy file 'default.setting.php' and paste it in same folder.

Step4:

 Once you copy 'default.settings.php' file in your 'default' folder.

 Rename the copied file with name 'settings.php'.

Step5 :-

       Put the WAMP server Online

Step6 :-  

      Open phpMyAdmin

Create Database in phpMyAdmin But remember the database

name because it will needed during installation

Step7:-

      Open localhost open your project/folder

yor will see the highlighted name 'www.khan123.com' is the site which we created .

 Step8 :

       When you click on your website name on localhost homepage,

 you are redirected to profile selection page of Drupal installation.

- This page shows you 2 (two) profiles.

    1. Standard

    2. Minimal

select 'Standard' profile and click on 'Save button

Step9 :-

      choose yor language ..

and Click on 'Save and continue' button.

10 ;- Database Configuration

you will see 4 different fields related to database

     1. Database Type: Select first option i.e. MySQL, MariaDB or equivalent

    2. Database Name: enter the database name .

    3. Database Username: enter " root "

    4. Database Password: leave it blank

    and Click on 'Save and continue' button.

Step11:-

 After configuring database, you will see Drupal installation.

Step12 :-

Configure site

fill all the fields and Click on 'Save and continue' button.

Step13 :-

 Drupal Installation Complete ...

you will see ur new site Homepage ...
